Mitt Romney is losing the most important election of our lifetime. Dont be deceived by the polls that show him within the margin of error. Dont put your faith in last minute media-buys from the campaigns gargantuan war chest.
Dont expect the debates to turn things around. The president may not be an electrifying speaker, but he knows how to demagogue. His message will be: I love the middle class; Mitt Romney wants tax cuts for millionaires and eats children.
And, dont count on the fact that public opinion is against Obama on almost every significant issue. (At no time since its passage has less than a majority favored repeal of Obamacare.)
The stars should be perfectly aligned for a Republican blowout this year. The economy is in the dumpster deficits to dwarf anything weve seen in the past, the highest sustained unemployment since the Great Depression, anemic growth, huge tax hikes just around the corner, consumer prices through the ceiling and the man responsible for it all is coasting to a second term.
The Governor, bless his bland little heart, is the worst candidate the GOP has fielded since Viagra Bob Dole so bad he makes John McCain look like Harry Truman on his 1948 Whistle Stop Tour.
Almost every national poll shows Romney behind by 1 to 8 points Rasmussen (Obama 47%, Romney 45%) Gallup (47% to 46%), Washington Post (52% to 44%), AP (47% to 46%) and Pew Research (51% to 43%).

Phony? I said that all Romney had to do was hold fast to his promise that he would release his 2010 and 2011 tax returns. Both he and his wife said that was all they would release. Now it appears he caved by providing the summary, which will only cause the Dems to demand more detail and make the same allegations. What purpose was served? And it made him look weak by caving into the Dem demands. You don't draw a line and then move it.
CONSERVATIVES care about how Willard spends the money of his uberwealthy corruptocrat Wall Street sponsors to BUY the GOP nomination (in exchange for Lucifer knows what slimey and secret promises of corruptions to be named later), trash every actual conservative in the race with the scads of ill gotten cash spent to carpet bomb each primary state, and then predictably go Kumbaya pacifist in the face of Obozo because, at rock bottom, they share most of their political premises to the extent that Myth has any premises at all. When the soulless, spineless but ohhhhh soooooo polite Myth morphs into McCain Redux only worse, I hope you guys are satisfied. AND Willard presumes to claim to practice his cowardice in OUR name when he BUYS the nomination of OUR party. BTW, isn't Willard his name?
Don't whine when Myth's typically feckless GOP-E performance turns the threat of a second Obozo term into reality, complete with Taxmageddon, institutionalisation of Obozocare, four years of unapproved "czars," mind-boggling and nation destroying regulation schemes, recess appointments, etc., etc., etc.
Also, in the quite unlikely scenario that Mr. Excruciatingly Nice Myth manages to squeeze in (when any competent Republican conservative with a mouth and a spine could and would have crushed Obozo), don't whine as Myth continues the utter destruction of the social fabric of this nation, its legal structure and its future because at bottom, Myth is a coward and a serial liar whose default position is to cozy up to his fellow elitists who just don't care about babies, marriage, guns, and folks of modest means.
Other than "Myth is not Obozo," Myth's pom pom girls have no cognizable excuse for Tennessee Nana or any other actual CONSERVATIVE to vote for Myth. AND get a clue. Insulting actual conservatives for being conservative even in these worst of circumstances is not going to motivate them to vote for that sorry excuse for a candidate on whose behalf you wave those pom poms.
Chris Matthews is orgasmic over Obama.
Get THIS clue: I do not give a crap who you vote for.
I know, but really when Chris Matthews has that tingle in his leg, I hate to say it but it is more like sciatica. I’m 46 so I should know, I’d like to say to Chris, “it’s middle age, get over it.” B-)
That would be a really good point if Romney were a conservative, since he is not it is not.
It would be really easy to get a conservative message out if the candidate believed in conservatism, he does not so it is not.
So asking a questions is an attack, who would have thunk it?
Is Romney going to spend his war chest or not?
Obama already beat himself. All Romney has to do is keep a low profile and not make any gaffes.
Careful, you’re playing right into the hands of the leftists. See this John McLaughlin comment:
“The Democrats want to convince [these anti-Obama voters] falsely that Romney will lose to discourage them from voting.”

“So they lobby the pollsters to weight their surveys to emulate the 2008 Democrat-heavy models. They are lobbying them now to affect early voting. IVR (Interactive Voice Response) polls are heavily weighted. You can weight to whatever result you want.”

OTOH, readers ought observe your #107 as yet another attempt at the turning of a sow's ear named Myth into a silk purse. And then there is the clever repartee, the incisive logic, and above all, substance of argument. Cicero, step aside for Enquiring Myth/Mind.
Its not the flubs its the lack of passion, lack of the articulation of ideas, it is the lack of conservative ideas, it is the lack of conviction, it is the “obama is a nice guy just in over his head” junk attitude - the campaign is terrible.
If he had the same ‘take no prisoners’ he had in the primaries he would be ahead.
I know why doesn’t he just pretend obama is a conservative.
Ryan is on fire, and compared to him Romney acts like a wet noodle.
