Forget our Constitution. A New Jersey Imam wants to replace it with Sharia Law…for the “good of society”.
Mohammad Qatanani, an Imam of one of the largest mosques in New Jersey, has declared that anyone criticizing Islam is a direct threat to our national security. He believes that “America should disregard its First Amendment…and instead act in accordance with sharia law for the ultimate ‘good’ of society“. Therefore, anyone suspected of speaking negatively of Islam or the Prophet Mohammad should be investigated by the Department of Homeland Security. But, of course, if you want to cheer for the complete annihilation of Israel, I’m sure that would be allowed.

There are religions that promote turning the other cheek even when mocked, but it appears Islam is not one of them. According to one of the most prominent imams in North America, Islam never condones violence, but it also, under no uncertain terms, “everaccepts” speaking ill of the Prophet Muhammad.
In fact, so grave is mockery of the prophet considered, that the cleric – Mohammad Qatanani, who leads one of the largest mosques in New Jersey – even believes free speech that criticizes Islam poses a national security threat to the U.S. and that those responsible should be investigated by the Department of Homeland Security.
“We, as Americans, have to put limits and borders [on] freedom of speech,” Qatanani, leader of the Islamic Center of Passaic County (ICPC), told TheBlaze. He explained that while Americans may ”have the freedom“ to speak their mind, ultimately, they “have no right to [talk about Muslim] holy issues“ as it will incite ”hatred or war among people.”
Qatanani said he thinks agitators who slander Islam, or, more specifically, the Prophet Muhammad, incite violence and hence, pose a national security risk that threatens the safety of Americans at home and abroad. Thus, America should disregard its First Amendment as it is typically applied and instead act in accordance with sharia law for the ultimate “good” of society.
Won’t the cleric be thrilled to discover that Obama’s henchmen are already doing this. From the wise words of Dwight D. Eisenhower,

The highly civilized J. Caesar launched an unprovoked war on the Gauls. Lasted almost 10 years. Of the 6M Gauls alive at the start of the wars, it is estimated 2M were killed and 2M were sold as slaves for Caesar’s personal financial benefit.
Historians generally agree the motivation for the war was Caesar’s need to pay off his massive debts and also to build a name as a warlord for political purposes. Both goals were successfully met.
This is an example of a war between civilized men and savages where the civilized man was in the wrong. There are many others down thru history.
My point is that I don’t believe it is always right to support the “civilized man” over the “savage.”

I had the privilege of attending Ty Woods' funeral this morning at the North Island Naval Air Station Chapel in Coronado. Ty and Glen Doherty are former SEALs and State Department contractors who came to the aid of the US Ambassador to Libya during the attack on the Benghazi Consulate. Ty and Glen were not assigned to the Ambassador's security detail. However, when the attack against the Consulate came, they ran toward the sound of gunfire and and defended the facility and the Ambassador for several hours against a numerically superior assault force, and went out like rock stars after planting dozens of those scumbags. Ty's widow, Dorothy, delivered an inspiring eulogy with more grace, poise, and fervor than I have ever witnessed from the spouse of a fallen warrior. I wish I had the entire thing on tape, as it should be read by the nation on the anniversary of 9/11 next year. Here are two quotes that I will never forget.
