How generous and wonderful of Rush! God bless you, G-Man .. you did good, and did it all with great personal responsibility and honor!
.. ping!
Thank You G-Man,
You did good.
Thanks for posting and thank you G-Man.
G. Gordon Liddy has always been my favorite talk show host. Missed him the past few years and heard him recently. I am sad that he is retiring but glad that he is doing so. It is time.
Liddy’s book ‘Will’ is must read IMO, to get a different perspective on the period and personalities than the Big Lie edits of the left.
the G-man, along with Ronald Reagan, are the reason I’m a conservative today. When I was a kid, my mother (a democrat but who respected Liddy because “he was the one guy who wouldn’t rat”) took me to his lecture. That opened my eyes.
He has a great sense of humor.
And always remember, don't get between him and on of Mrs. Liddy's guns.
Saw the headline and mis-read it that Limbaugh was retiring....
He left prison in 1977 and started the talk show in 1992, so there was a little time to fill in between then.
When Liddy started at WJFK in 1992, he tried an unusual approach: He read news stories from the conservative press on air. "
Reproducing a news story and commenting on it. What a silly idea. Who would ever do that? < /sarc>
I enjoyed listening to him back in the 90s but the local station which carried him switched to sports. Then I heard him again recently and he just sounded old and not nearly as sharp as he had been. I hope his has a happy retirement.
I read this early this morning and ordered a copy of “When I Was a Kid, This Was a Free Country” ...I think EVERYONE should read it- I’d forgotten it..

God bless G Gordon.
I have to respect Liddy; the things he did, he did for the good of all of us, including “Watergate.”
.
NOTE: G. Gordon Liddy one of the few in GOP Media who actually served his country...
Did not know Rush was a real help to G-Man when he started out in radio. That was good by Rush...considering that G-Man was his only competition in the Noon-3PM EST national radio world
Thank you for your service G-Man. Have a great and healthy retirement
Ah, good ol’ G. Gordon “Just shoot the bastards in the head” Liddy fame. Anytime I read of government like gestapo tactics I usually think of that quote.
Good luck in retirement. Mr. Liddy.
I loved listening to Liddy’s show. His interview of Ed McMahon was especially memorable, too.
Thanks Star!
Great job G-Man!
He had handlers making sure things went right, that was after he rode his hog from DC to SD.
I did not think he would last much longer based on that meeting, but he did better than I expected.
The Liddy show was #1 for me, then Rush and the rest.
I have read Will (his book), and some others by him.
What I did right was to bring a pretty blond girl to see him after meeting me.
I also gave him an An Air Defense Artillery (ADA) insignia that I wore in Afghanistan in 2002, I hope he added it to his Harley vest(he was ADA) in the Army. I doubt there were any other ADA insignia worn in Afghanistan during that time.
G. Gordon Liddy -— check out his autobuiogarfy written years ago and how he selected his wife. Very good book

Liddy called me a "good knock around kind of guy", which if you know Liddy was high praise indeed.
Loved listening to his show back in the early 90s when I was a young teen.
“It is I! G. Gordon!”
That still cracks me up for some reason.
Luv the G-Man. Thanks for the memories ...
