The Obama campaign has launched its “For All” campaign, encouraging supporters to take pictures of themselves with their hands on their hearts and a note explaining why they support President Obama.
Actress Jessica Alba uses the Pledge of Allegiance as an example of the campaign in an email to supporters.
“Growing up, my classmates and I started every day with a ritual: We’d stand up, put our right hand over our hearts, and say the Pledge of Allegiance,” explains Alba. “To me, that gesture was a promise. A promise to be involved and engaged in this country’s future. A promise to work for liberty and justice — and for affordable education, health care, and equality — for all.”
Alba joins Hollywood actresses Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson by photographing herself with her hand on her heart pledging to vote for Obama.

Poor Jessica. Her brain cells could play hide and seek for a decade and not one would be a winner.
There’s only one way I’ll take that pledge, Jessica. I have to explain it to you in private, though.
And, I’m sure dear Jessica, Beyonce, Scarlett, etc. also pledged to re-distribute their wealth. Perhaps we can send them our addresses so they can send us our share of their wealth.

I’ll admit, I’d probably only get about 30 in order, but I’m pretty sure I could name them all.
The acting profession especially rubs me the wrong way. Whenever an actor makes a mistake before the camera, the director yells “CUT!”, and the actor is given a do-over. In the real world, we don’t get do-overs.
Right.
I know one thing for certain, acting must be the easiest thing on earth because there are nothing but idiots running around making a living as ‘actors’ (a very lucrative living, too).
There is not a single actor I can think of who would last at MY job for 10 minutes... much less be considered for it in the first plact. And, MY job ain’t rocket science.
I saw Tom Hank’s son on an interview. He was asked why he acted. His response answers it all.
He said I am not very bright barley made it out of high school, I can’t play a sport to save my life, the only thing left was acting.

Liberals tend to be loyal to individuals.
I think that is why we attack our own when they screw up--the offender has been disloyal to our ideals.
Whereas liberals will remain loyal no matter how bad the fellow liberal's actions are--even to the point where the offending liberal is hurting the greater liberal cause.
At least that is how it appears to me.
