Tim Pawlenty quit as co-chair of Mitt Romney's presidential campaign on Thursday to become one of Wall Street's top lobbyists in Washington. Pawlenty, a former governor of Minnesota, will lead the Financial Services Roundtable.
The move came with Romney's campaign struggling to find its stride with just seven weeks left before Election Day. Polls show the former Massachusetts governor running neck and neck with President Barack Obama in a contest both sides predict will be very close

He needs to call in Newt and Trump.
One RINO abandoning another.
Good observation, Buckeye. Pawlenty was always about as interesting as watching paint dry. Romney has an ample number of advisors in that category as it is.
I think that HE wanted him as the GOP candidate.
But,he did give us Al Franken.
Ding Ding Ding....
Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner.
Absolutely. See ya Tim.
What will the Pawlians say?
Milquetoast Tim GoodNplenty Pawlenty
...still has sour grapes, he wasn’t the VP pick.

Pawlenty wasn’t able to run a good national campaign for himself. It boggles the mind to think he’d run a good one for someone else.

What will R+R do without such dynamic, exiting, influence. zZzzzzzzzzzz... Anyone with a pulse could do a better job.
I read it as he wants to make money and the campaign doesn’t need him that much.
Just damn! What will R+R do without that wet sock stumping for them?
I strongly doubt Pawlenty ran anything. He was a politician co-chair. Further, if anyone actually reported on Romney he is not milquetoast at all, criticizes Obama every day.
thought it was BO Pawlenty?(showing my age I suppose)
