White House Press Secretary Jay Carney on Tuesday downplayed the fact that the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya happened on the anniversary of the 9-11 attacks on the U.S.
Carney said the evidence points to an American-made, anti-Muslim film as the cause of the Benghazi attack, adding, “There are certainly groups that carry those weapons and look to take advantage of circumstances, as there are around the region and the world.”
The attack in Benghazi left four Americans dead, including U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens.

On Youtube alone there must be 1000s if not hundreds of 1000s because I can’t find no end to them, and they’ve been up ever since Youtube came into existence. As I’ve said before, Obama & his minions have been doing all they can to avoid the, “AlQaeda attack Kills 4 Americans on Sept. 11th Anniversary” headline.
If they have to admit it next week, it will be ‘old news’ and the pro-Obama msm will be able to avoid the headline.
The Administration knows, if they can’t avoid the truth of something bad eventually coming out, best to have it trickle out so it’s watered down.

It’s a pointless exercise to be looking at “proximate causes” for violence in that part of the world where people nurse grievances as an excuse for their societal failures. This was no “shake ‘n bake” protest that got out of hand. This was a military assault with a carefully laid ambush set for the relief force. There is evidence that the attackers had been collecting intelligence on the locations of US “safe-houses” one of which was hit by mortar fire.
I can only conclude that the so-called movie was a convenient excuse. If it hadn’t been that it would have been something else.
They are going to stick with this lie until they are out of office!
