Breaking Right Now on Fox News
Exactly so, and that won’t exactly be recalled on the MSM news broadcasts about this.
I commented on this in this thread four days ago.
Wonder how this will effect Obama's plans to release the blind Sheik to Egypt? Releasing any of these a-holes from Gitmo, or any other prison was a bad idea under Bush, and it's still a bad idea now. If Obama goes ahead with this release, he should be arrested for endangering the lives of all Americans here and abroad.
Looks like the Muslim version of Tim Tebow, LOL
Because the CIA just named him as the guy...that’s why.
source?
On tonights Special Report, Bret Baier reported on an exclusive breaking news alert: intelligence sources are convinced the Mideast attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya was directly tied to Al Qaeda.
Catherine Herridge reported that they believe that Sufyan Ben Qumu (whose name has also been transliterated as Sofiane Ibrahim Gammu) was likely involved in the attack, and even may have led the attack on the Consulate.
Qumu a Libyan was released from the US prison at Guantanamo Bay in 2007 and transferred to Libyan custody under the condition that he would be kept in jail. He wasnt.
According to his Gitmo files, he was also tied to 9/11 financiers, and his alias is found on a list of probable Al Qaeda personnel receiving monthly stipends and family support.
Stay tuned the video report will be posted shortly.

#3 Most Memorable Moment of Feb 17 Liberation of Abu Salim Prison, Tripoli
Posted on February 17, 2012 by KLN1
One of the most shocking videos of the entire revolution. This is raw video of the freeing of the infamous Abu Sleem Prison. Abu Sleem Prison is the location where the Gaddafi regime has placed his political prisoners for over 40 years, from all parts of Libya East, West, North, South. It is the location of the Abu Sleem massacre In which Gaddafi forces killed 1,200 political prisoners in ONE day. And as of recently, it is the location where thousands upon thousands of captured freedom fighters and protesters have been placed since the beginning of the revolution. The only crime these individuals were guilty of was speaking out against the regime. This is their moment of freedom. The sweetest breath of freedom that one could image. All praises to God.

If there were intel warnings out of Libya a full week prior to the attack, it is a possibility they knew this guy was behind it then.
This new information is leaking from somewhere. There’s a reason why the whole ‘the you tube movie started it’ BS happened right on top of the very announcement on the news that the ambassador was killed. They manufactured that and hoped it would stick.
125 heavily armed men with RPG’s show up and storm the US embassy and it ain’t about Mohammed raping kids, which he did of course.
This will leave a mark.
Technically he wasn’t released in 2007, he was transferred to a Libyan prison, where he was released in 2010.
Thanks for the link. This is interesting.
“The presence of Islamists like these amid the opposition has raised concerns, among some fellow rebels as well as their Western allies, that the goal of some Libyan fighters in battling Col. Gadhafi is to propagate Islamist extremism”
So this terrorist scumbag was part of the Libyan uprising. Implication? The RPG used to murder our ambassador was paid for using US tax dollars.
One wonders if UN Ambassador Susan Rice has knee-pads that are permanently welded in place at this point.

Washington) The United States government during the Bush administration tortured opponents of Muammar Gaddafi, then transferred them to mistreatment in Libya, according to accounts by former detainees and recently uncovered CIA and UK Secret Service documents, Human Rights Watch said in a report released today. One former detainee alleged he was waterboarded and another described a similar form of water torture, contradicting claims by Bush administration officials that only three men in US custody had been waterboarded.
BHO didn’t release him.
