Well, any generalization is necessarily somewhat inaccurate....but these two seem pretty correct.

The generalizations are somewhat accurate (if incomplete) but the above sentiments are noble yet naive. Any expectation that virtue will somehow just overcome the realities of the world is a pipe dream.

When one reads the full article it states the Salifi were present but it’s interesting that two of the blind sheiks sons were present along with the sheiks brother yet the author of this article coats them as peaceful demonstrators yet says nothing about getting the blind sheik released. Other articles from the ME state the Libyan Salifists have changed and are now peaceful. They’re apparently the group who worked with the ambassador.
Something that struck me about the protests in Cairo were a number of protesters wearing Guy Fawkes masks. How many of them were there due to the efforts of western community agitators?
Yes, I noticed that TigerEye. I’m thinking they’re the Feb17 group, I’ve been meaning to look them up but got more involved in the Ultras/Salafi. I’ve read that hundreds, if not, thousands of disapora are returning for the fight. One of them from Brooklyn who was at the Cairo protest - see above article. They’re apparently getting paid big bucks. I remember hearing an American accent in the video - the one where they were pulling the ambassador out in and then out of the window. How long did they keep him there... Apparently there’s also lots of British along with other European terrorists going back to create mayhem.
Anyway Frontline did a documentary on them...not sure if one can believe it all but I take some stuff from different places and try and make sense. I’m thinking it was these Salafi/al Qaeda who are creating the havoc...

Interesting blog below. The writer appears to be way out there but some of his information makes sense especially that the Salafi are related to the Wahhabi (know the history from the past) - both are Saudi Fundamentalists - al Qaeda a wing along with perhaps al-Sharia though I haven’t checked that out. I’ve thought on occasion that there had to be a radical terrorist group at the ready and for hire by governments or institutions...

Basically we’re told it’s all al-Qaeda which really puts one chasing a red herring but when one talks about the Salafi or Wahabbi it makes more sense. All the others, such as, al Qaeda are just branches. These terrorists have destroyed Sufi mosques, and of course, Churches as recently as May. In one of the articles I posted within the last week it mentioned that the Salifists are the al-Nour party in Egypt and partners with the Muslim Brotherhood. What do you think? Sorry don’t have time to review my wanderings...

I think you’re doing a great job. You’re much deeper into this than I am. I am also sure you are right that throwing the Al-Qaeda name out there is little more than a red herring.
Thanks TigersEye, but I’m not too well versed either, just trying to make some sense out of it all.
One wonders who dubbed the words of the actors into the movie? It was so obscure, pathetically amateurish, that one wonders how they found it on youtube. There’s plenty of islamic mockery there so one wonders why this specific movie. And how did it get from there, after dubbing, to the Islamic World? What was their motive? I ask who dubbed the wording because the last cartoons out of France, per wikileaks, were “doctored” by the mullahs because they weren’t extreme enough hence no surprise if they doctored this one by dubbing. I find it very coincidental and surprising that the maker of the movie was a Coptic Christian, albeit nonpracticing, and since most of them have relatives back home, why would he risk their lives? It would have to be big money and there was a mention of 5 million though I think that was later disclaimed - who knows.
How did it get around the Islamic World?
The following pieces explain how this movie got traction. The Salifist Mullah Khaled Abdullah, government state security, was the first to carry the story to a Salifist TV Channel per the source below, there was no date noted but it was obviously before the day of the protests. Then Wesam Abdel Warith president of another Salifi channel called for a demonstration along with yet another extremist Salafi sheikh, Abu Yahia, followed by Nader Bakker - Salafist al Nour party, who partners with the Muslim Brotherhood, carried the message to al Jazeera. All of them appear to be linked, whether by their extreme Salafic belief system, the Muslim Brotherhood government or both. Basically, the Koran (and hadith) is/are their Constitution. They’re of the belief that the whole world belongs to their Allah, they want to clean it up and bring us back to the days of mohammed, hence the killing of Christians and Church arson, destruction of Sufi Mosques and the graves of their saints, along with regular Sunni Mosques.

This was their message: “Word of a film originating in the United States that depicts the Prophet Muhammad having sexual intercourse and questioning his role as a prophet spread like wildfire across the streets of Egypt.” and something about Terry Jones having a mock jury trial for mohammed. They remember him from the koran burning.

It would appear by the some of the reports that it was a spontaneous protest in Cairo, spread to Benghazi, and so, on and on...but that belies the fact that the news was already on television prior.
The common thread is that they’re all Salafi which is very similar to the Saudi Wahabbi. Perhaps al-Qaeda, al-Sharia etc., are are their terrorist wings. I’ve often thought it too coincidental that these terrorists can be produced at a moments notice, almost like it’s what they do for a living, paid assassins, which would fit in with the old mohammed days. I think they used to get paid so much per infidel but not totally sure.
Bottomline: If they ever get our speech curtailed we’re finished which I believe is one of their primary goals. Islam didn’t cozy up to the totalitarian national socialist party in the past for nothing. Socialism and Islamism aren’t that far apart, along with the monied power-hungry Globalists, who’re always lurking in the shadows.
You’ll probably glaze over it all. :) No doubt it will all come out in time as we’ve got a great team of new media investigators.
