I think both Mormons and Muslims should be mocked. Both are false, and both will lead one to hell.
The “only” upside to Mormons, at least during this time of history, is that they aren’t killing non-Mormons for mocking them. Of course, if they ever got fully in control...I’m not so sure they wouldn’t become extremely intolerant of descent to their beliefs. When Joseph Smith was “killed by a mob” it was while he was being held in jail for destroying a newspaper printing press that was publishing anti-Mormon material. He also had formed his own private army that answered to him. He gave himself the rank of Lieutenant General when it was customary, and good manners, for leaders of civil militias to hold no higher rank than Major General. The man was something of an egotist and flim flam artist. Of course, Mohammed was even worse...as were/are his followers.
He started his own private Army because President Buchanan decided he didn’t like Mormons and wanted the land they settled so he ordered them completely exterminated. (The Mormon Wars).
Smith wasn’t a saint to say the least, but let’s not make them seem like the villains in that whole thing. You had a case of an over-reaching totalitarian President (a ‘dandy’ Democrat by the way) that would make most people’s Waco nightmares seem like a Saturday afternoon special in comparison.
