The strategy for getting U.S. forces out of Afghanistan depends on training Afghan soldiers and police to protect the country themselves, but on Monday the U.S. military suspended most joint field operations with Afghan forces because so many Americans are being killed by the men they are training.
Afghan government troops -- our allies -- have turned their guns on NATO forces 36 times this year, killing 51, most of them Americans. That is more attacks than the last two years combined.

Could it be argued that our Afghan allies are our worst allies in the history of this country? Placing them ahead of the French in WWII especially in Nothern Africa?
personally, i would get out of afghanistan as fast as possible and just bomb the pigs every time they gave us a hard time.

Agreed. There is nothing we can do to help them. Play each tribe/faction against each other to keep them weak and divided. Same goes for Pakistan.
It could be done if we were willing to fight these wars properly and with the necessary brutality. Unfortunately, we are not.
Afghan soldiers see 0bama as on THEIR side, and the American soldier is the odd man out. THAT is the issue, more so than whether we should be there any longer or not. Unlike President Bush, 0bama simply hasn’t shown ANY disdain for the enemy. None. As a result, the enemy has become more emboldened, and our soldiers pay the price. Factor in 0bama’s OBSESSION WITH THE NEW ‘GAY AMERICAN SOLDIER’ brand and the problem is further exacerbated. Sort of like sending a gay Ambassador to Libya. It seems to be an almost intentional provocation.

Odd how O has no trouble using that exact strategy here at home but refuses to use it on his kinfolk in the middle east?
Meanwhile our soldiers are being forced to take Muslim sensitivity training classes.
Treat Afghan soldiers like Panetta treats US soldiers- take away their guns
The French weren’t our allies in North Africa until the deal with Darlan went through. Until then they were enemies.
After that they weren’t very useful in Morocco, but at least they weren’t shooting Americans in the back.
And in Italy, after they were refitted and retrained, they cracked and broke open the Gustav line (leading to the final taking of Monte Cassino), where the Americans and British had failed. They were good soldiers.
The current WH occupant should, in theory, have absolutely no support amongst the military in november.
How much longer must the nation-ending policies of the WH continue, the idiotic policies that not only result in hundreds of millions in wasted dollars in wrecked and damaged equipment - but the priceless sacrifice of thousands of American casualties.
