Honestly, I don’t see how Romney can influence the media narrative. The days of Reagan are over. Reagan was able to speak directly to the American people. All we get today on the lamestream media is partisans seperating soundbites and immediately spinning it. It is not reporting. It’s not the truth.
Where does the media narrative truly fit reality today? Arab Spring? Nope. Economy? Nope. Zero’s promises in 2008? Nope. Green jobs? Nope. QE3? Nope.
Why would I trust what they say about Romney’s campaign?
NOTICE the problem here? If they had been alive in 1942 your sort of "conservatives" would of been tuning into Radio Berlin to find out how the Allied War effort was going.

If Romney doesn’t fight, he’ll lose. I’m sorry if you’re upset by the fact that people want to retool the campaign into a conservative one of stark contrasts and ideas.
Instead, we’ll now spend the whole week on the defensive from whatever story is about to break.

We should be up 20 points in this economy and the radical liberalism that Obama has embraced. Heck, we should be up 2 points. But we’re not - because Romney is continually allowing the media and Obama campaign to set the narrative.
And if someone in the Romney campaign decided to run to Politico and say, “Hey guess what we did?” - they should be fired. Period.

Maybe they simply don’t exist. After all the 2004 “Bush National Guard” story was simply a CBS “News” manufactured myth.
There are hundreds of examples where these “anonymous” sources turn out to be a figment of the reporters mind.
