Violent protests spread to Australia on fifth day of upheaval over anti-Islam film

A demonstration that began with about 200 people outside the U.S. consulate in Sydney swelled to more than twice that number, with protesters appearing to catch police off guard as they marched through the centre of the city.

Some of the chanting protesters carried placards reading "Behead all those who insult the Prophet".

Several streets, usually thronging with weekend shoppers, were blocked off by police as the protest grew. Police, many wearing anti-riot equipment and some on horseback, used dogs and chemical sprays, including tear gas, as they tried to control the protest.

Reuters Television pictures showed one policeman with a head injury being led away by colleagues. Police later said six officers had been injured and eight protesters arrested.

Where are the signs that say:

“Deport those who reject Australia’s Laws.”

And *that* is worth getting all up in arms about? It’s a stupid, poorly-produced parody. Who would even have a reaction to that vapidity?

Believe me, none of this has anything to do with the movie.

If 500 folks got together in Central Park and protested (read: called vociferously for the decapitation of) homosexuals, how long do you think it would take to leave the news cycle?

The would all be in jail charged with a hate crime and terroristic threats.

I believe that the muslims are already at war, and have been for hundreds of years. The rest of the non-islamic world has yet to realize that there is a war on.

True. Ramadan is practice for war. The original muslims lived in the desert. They waged war during the day when their enemies were resting from the heat. This is why during Ramadam, the muslims fast all day and basically stay up all night celebrating and eating. They prepare to fight all day without food and water. The are celebrating the successes and victories from their daytime raids.

It's not really fasting as they just reverse their normal daily schedules. In the modern world they have to interact with others so to us its just a religious ceremony.

In Saudi Arabia the muslims adjust their schedules so that they do not work all day. They come in around 2pm and work into the evening hours.

When I witnessed the 3 Repudiations of God at the Democrat National Convention--I did get a very bad feeling, like the whining of an incoming cluster bomb.

Funny thing is, I didn't really watch much of it, but just happened to be watching with the LA Mayor looking completely flummoxed....

I was wondering why in the world the muzzies would get all crazy less than two months away from the election. After all, if they had only stayed quiet until November, their boy B. Hussein Obama (mmm mmm mmm) would be re-elected

And the only reason they know about the film is because Obama and Hillary mentioned it, had they kept their mouths shut, there’s no way they would have known about it.

So they question is, why was the Obama Administration so anxious to let people know about the film?
