According to the NBC and Wall Street Journals poll conducted in August of 2012, 0% thats zero percent, not a typo of African-Americans support the GOP presidential candidate-to-be Mitt Romney in the presidential election of 2012.

I've had to deal with this in my own family. I almost got assaulted (by family) because I said Obama is bringing out the worst in everyone.
If 100% of whites voted for Romney in the same poll, it would have been international front page news.
I assume Black Americans vote the same way I do...
For the candidate who most closely represents my principles.
In the case of Black Americans, that would be the principles of European Socialism.
If Thomas Sowell ran for president, he wouldn't get more than 10% of the Black vote.
When Paul Ryan came on the ticket it made Romney a lot more digestable. They all say what a nice person Obama is...probably for fear of being called a racist.
" Couldn't agree more. If Romney had a "D" behind his name, (which he should), you'd hate him. He espouses the same policies but because he has an "R" behind his name he's on our team. Right?
But the people you know are not part the poll most likely.
I was at a tea party in 2010 and there was atall black man there holding a sign that said “Obama’s lying to you”
so there are black people who are not voting for Obama the same goes with hispanics. Now I am sure thre will be a large amount of those groups who will vote for him that’s a given.
It’s wonderful to see so many people on this thread talk about the African-Americans they know that are supporting Romney, but that doesn’t make it impossible for the poll to show 0%.
I’m sure the pollsters encountered some, too, but if they only found a small handful of them out of the 1000 surveyed, it is going to be indicated as 0%.
The media continues to separate people by race and then they call conservatives racist. People are people in my way of thinking and the media and democrats are the racists by trying to keep blacks in the same mindset forever. The mindset being that they are victims and need their help.
When I found out that Romney vetoed the Mass Dem legislature 800 times, I went looking for more information about his time as governor. He’s more conservative than I thought and it will be much easier voting for him than I anticipated.
Some of Mitt Romney’s critics have made irresponsible allegations with regard to Mitt’s record. Many, including the media, have failed to verify the factual basis for these claims and have continued to repeat them. WhyRomney.com is an independent website that debunks these claims and seeks to set the record straight.

I don’t know why people get all riled up (not you) when Romney or Ryan say Obama is a nice guy. First off it is almost always in response to the direct question from the media, who are hoping to get front page news if they answer with “no he is not a nice guy he is a communist fraud who hates America”. Better to deflect the question when asked directly and not use that as a launching pad. People need to slow their roll in Monday morning quarterbacking everything. Besides Romney flat out said Obama doesn’t tell the truth and Ryan has said things like that too. They just pick their spots. The never-ending craving for red meat around here with no concern for context or consequences is ridiculous.
I can’t believe how many posters here do not understand the concept of “rounding”: “0%” means less than 0.5%.
Okay? That means you daughter’s boyfriend’s black neighbor can support Romney, and the statistic can still be true.
That’s the left for you.... a great big mess of race war, class warfare, special interests and government dependent leeches.
I always tell people that the Republican party is the TRUE party of equality and civil rights.... absolutely no differences for people no matter what their color, gender, race or religion.
It is the party of Abe Lincoln, Frederick Douglass and Susan B. Anthony.
Agree...
A representative sampling of Blacks would have been around 130 to 140.
If just 4 Blacks voted for Romney in this poll, that would be rounded down to 0%.
Americans believe their eyes. Did you not see the DNC Romney Kennedy clip? This isn’t 1982. Youtube makes liers out of cheerleaders.
Group think does apply with R’s as well. I wholeheartedly agree. Not with this Texan tho. Liberals exist on both sides of the fence. Just wish our nominee wasn’t one. My choice decided she wasn’t running.
See folks? Did you read this response? Hell no! It's always better to tell the truth? If you have to deflect/lie it only serves to hi-light your lack of a core. If you believe, I mean really believe in conservatism you should never have to hide it!
I’ve heard people rationalize it as blacks merely voting their interests. Aside from the fact that Democratic policies work to the detriment to most of any group, I would be called racist for pretending 95+ % of black people have the same interests. As if doctors and lawyers want the same things as unemployed hood rats.
Whose God did he believe in when he "severly" supported aborting Massachusetts's babies? Or should just ignore that because of the R thing?
“I was at a tea party...”
Remember when the MSM ran footage of a gunnut at one of those events strapped with an assualt rifle, but had to crop out his head and arms because they couldn’t let people believe even one of those radical extremists was black? Priceless.
Or was it that they felt people might be scared in the wrong way? As in, “Eeek! Blacks with guns!” instead of, “Eeek! Conservatives!”
