Absolutely.

FYI, while driving into work yesterday, a man currently serving in our military called in and stated just months ago, he was stationed at the embassy (in Libya?? maybe Tunis? I can't recall, sorry). He listed off the types of weaponry with which he was armed (as in heavy and lots), and doesn't understand why everyone keeps saying our military was "unarmed".

The host said (paraphrasing), "you served there months ago; these people are so nefarious, Obama could likely have recently issued orders to military now serving at the embassy to be unarmed with the purpose of facilitating such an event we are now witnessing."

The Marine said, 'well, I'm still serving, so I can't say much. But, it wouldn't surprise me if that is the truth."

Per other threads recently, the Marines guarding the Embassy were disarmed because the female Ambassador did not like them being armed. It was a local directive, NOT a directive from the WH or State Department.
