White House officials had asked Google earlier on Friday to reconsider whether the video had violated YouTube's terms of service. The guidelines can be viewed here
Google said on Wednesday that the video was within its guidelines.

Thank goodness! Now I won’t have to trade my non-private gmail address in for a priceless and private “TaxedEnoughAlready@Reagan.com” address. Maybe I should do that anyway... Rush would be pleased at least!
Glad to see this lobbying on behalf of Muslim terrorists by the US administration has been rejected.
The film maker should file both a tortuous interference suit against Obama for interfering with his relationship with Google and a 15th amendment suit for chilling his first amendment rights under color of law.
9/11 was part of the war. This is another stage, where they demand that we submit or fight.
Things are going to get unbelievably violent shortly.
This is the first thing Google’s done in years that I have some respect for.
Wow, a liberal website going against their own? Interesting.
Wow, google surprised me. I guess that censoring a video at the direct, public request of the President was a little too much even for them.
I’ve been wondering the same thing for the same reason.
Some obscure film caused all this?
NOT!
If Americans are not out at the WH this weekend demanding a strong response from the CIC and the TRUTH we’re allowing ourselves to be played as fools for islam.
The Obama Administration has been talking about doing this for months under the guise of the Government having the power to shut down servers when it serves the “National Interests”. Now Obama has his story to use Executive Privilege to do just what he wants. Will likely decide to bar Romney/Ryan You Tube ads as a threat to National Security and of course, Rush and FR.
JMHO
No Dagny, they are keeping "Osama's dead and GM's alive" off the front page for their master.
Good for Google, for resisting the intimidationist attitude of this admin, if nothing else.
Let me paraphrase Michelle Obama and say that today, for the first time in my adult life, I became afraid of our government.
That Carney press meet would have been a joke, if it wasn’t so disturbing. Nobody believes what he is saying, he’s making old Baghdad Bob look credible.
So, either they are truly stupid, and believe this cr*p they are dishing out OR they feel they can lie to the American public with impunity, because “the press” won’t question them.
If these people are rewarded for this craven behavior by re-election, God help us.
This election really isn’t about Mitt Romney anymore, it really is about giving Obama the gate and gutting the MSM.
I truly feel like freedom itself is at stake here. The current occupiers of the WH and our elite opinion makers seem to have lost grasp of the concept entirely.
They truly seem to be on the side of the Muslim hordes today.
I expect this to get worse.
:)
I expect this to get worse.
Trust me, it can. The liberals in this country would give up almost anything and everything in the face of terror and threats. They are gutless, spineless cowards. They are also totally spoiled and have no appreciation of the hard work it took those in the past to preserve their rights and freedoms.
This administration has hats full of hubris full of shit.
Filmmaker was actually Coptic Christian.
The film. Using it as the cause means WE are to blame. Deflects blame on the failure of Obama’s Middle East policy.
Better that we reject any appeasing of the Muslims now and get the world war going as soon as possible. If we wait 50-100 years, they’ll have far more nuclear weapons at their disposal, including the arsenals of many European countries that they will have demographically taken over by then. We told Japan that their religion was unacceptable and told the Nazis that their ideology was unacceptable. The same exact thing must be done to Muslims. And it will be. The only question is who will be strong enough to win when the war finally happens, us or them?
The "press" is probably afraid of rocking the boat, losing their credentials, and being told to find a new job.
