BS- then don’t vote for him....did you read the story or just react to the headline???
“But, asked about the film itself, Romney said he hadnt seen and had no intention of doing so. Still, he seemed to agree with much of the substance of the embassys statement.
“And the idea of using something that some people consider sacred and then parading that out a negative way is simply inappropriate and wrong,” he said. “And I wish people wouldnt do it. Of course, we have a First Amendment. And under the First Amendment, people are allowed to do what they feel they want to do. They have the right to do that, but its not right to do things that are of the nature of what was done by, apparently this film.””
what’s wrong with that response??? is he suppose to support the film??? he’s supporting 1st ammendment rights, which obama is not by virtue of sending the military to pastor jones house and pleading that jones pull his support for the film, and says the film in his POV was wrong...
for some reason, people on our side want to hate Romney so they take an out of context headline from the MSM about a Clinton official interviewing the Republican nominee as something to be taken seriously.
What he said was reasonable and presidential. He supports the right for people to create the movie but probably wouldn’t do it himself because he finds any attack on anyone’s religion, no matter how small, as something that shouldn’t be promoted.
Lighten up, this is reasonable. what should he do? Rent a a popcorn maker, grab a few cases of pork rinds and host a viewing party on the national mall?
I thought it was a good response. Just because something is “a right” does not mean that doing it is always “right”. In San Francisco, gays can wave their penises from parade floats as it is their “right”; but doing so just isn’t right.
