Because if 1 member in the entire family is born here.....they qualify for Section 8.
I despise the phrase, “ask higher income earners to pay more”. There is no “asking”. The iron fisted government imposes taxation on pain of loss of property and freedom if you fail to comply. Leftist weasels.
“Pay their fair share”. In other words, you have more than I do. And that’s not ‘fair’.
Since when should ‘we’ be obligated to ‘give’ a middle class lifestyle to someone who hasn’t earned it? Of course these folks want a re-distribution of other people’s wealth.
Today they say the ‘wealthy’ should pay more tax. Tomorrow it will be that it’s not fair only the wealthy pay more tax. The middle class should pay their ‘fair’ share.
See where this is going?
NOBAMA 2012
We have to raise taxes on the Makers because the Takers don’t have enough. We have to take more on their behalf.
Time to only have property owners voting again.
It’s the most evil kind of covetousness.
Not that they want what “the rich” have,
they just don’t want “the rich” to have.
How bout the elderly Florida couple on Social Security and Medicare, who own a little condo, they get to vote?
These people in charge have to go; and for once, there needs to be a basement to penthouse purging of government (I almost said federal - but I mean at every level) bureaucrats.
Our side has a habit of not doing that, and nothing ever changes as a result.
If they are the ones that pay the property tax bill, they vote.
Nothing is a perfect system. Not in this current life. But some arrangements are far, far better than others. generally people with skin in the game don’t vote to raid their own pockets more.
We see a lot of reports about hundreds of billions wasted, yet nothing form the admin to prevent more hundreds of billions being wasted in the future.
Therefore they shouldn’t be trusted with one more dime from anyone.
We do the same thing. Only we’re trying to make as much as we can while we can.
“Congress must raise taxes on the wealthy “because there just isn’t enough to go around,” Housing and Urban Development Secretary Shaun Donovan told the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute today.”
You gotta love how the government comes from the view that the problem is the government not getting enough money, not that it’s spending more money than it can ever hope to bring in while still allowing enough economic growth for them to have something to loot in the future.
Kinda makes you wonder what will happen the day the latter fact comes out and the government can no longer deny it.
