The California man who produced the anti-Islam video that has caused outrage across the Middle East is a serial fraudster with a string of alibis including P.J. Tobacco.
Nakoula Basseley Nakoula opened a string of bank accounts under assumed names, transferring money between them with bogus cheques and withdrawing cash before they bounced.
He was jailed for 21 months for the scheme after being caught by the FBI in 2009.
Fraud is not his only brush with the law. The Daily Beast reports that in 1997, he was charged with intent to manufacture methamphetamine.
After pleading guilty, he was sentenced to a year in jail and three years probation. But after violating his probation on 2002, he was sentenced to another year behind bars.
Police have been sent to the Coptic Christian's home as hides in fear of retaliation.

The guy wasn’t a practising Coptic. The Coptics are worried that this will affect their brothers and sisters in Egypt. They’re already being murdered, raped, burned out of their Churches and homes for nothing. Now the Muslims have a socalled reason to do even more - even if it’s all manufactured. I wish marxistmedia would stop with the coverups for Obama/Clinton by putting the blame on the “movie”. Most of America know they’re lying through their teeth.
