Cindy Lee Garcia tells the website that she was hired last summer for a small part in a movie she was told would be called "Desert Warriors," about life in Egypt 2,000 years ago (Islam is about 1,400 years old).
She told Gawker "It wasn't based on anything to do with religion, it was just on how things were run in Egypt. There wasn't anything about Muhammed or Muslims or anything and that, according to Gawker, "In the script and during the shooting, nothing indicated the controversial nature of the final product. Muhammed wasn't even called Muhammed; he was "Master George," Garcia said. The words Muhammed were dubbed over in post-production, as were essentially all other offensive references to Islam and Muhammed. Garcia said that there was a man who identified as "Bacile" on set, but that he was Egyptian and frequently spoke Arabic.
The online 14-minute clip of a purportedly anti-Islamic movie that sparked protests at the US embassy in Cairo and and the US consulate in Benghazi, Libya is now looking like it could have been ginned up by someone sitting a basement with cheap dubbing software.
Full credit goes to Sarah Abdurrahman at On the Media and Rosie Grey at Buzzfed who appear to be the first to highlight (there may be others, but they're the ones who caught my eye) the fact that almost every instance of language referring to Islam or Muhammad in the film has been dubbed in. That is, mouths are mouthing but the words you're hearing don't match.

All of this is beginning to really smell fishy. If this turns out to be true, the only real part of this hoax will be the dead Americans who died for no good reason.

The movie is for real, and probably has a mostly true message (although I am too lazy even to examine the trailer closely, much less obtain the full video). As a cinematic production, it is laughably lame crap.
Reports indicate it was produced by a flake (claiming to be an Israeli Jew, but actually a crooked Egyptian Copt) under false pretenses. The cast thought they were doing an altogether different movie, and the religion-sensitive dialog was dubbed in during post-production. Understandably, the cast is pissed and threatening to sue (but, alas, indication are, the culprit will prove judgment-proof).
But is it not a strange coincidence that the wogs happened to see such an obscure movie and get fired up just in time for a 9/11 anniversary?
When the muslims get in a blood frenzy, they murder innocent people all the time.
I believe this “movie” was put together by muslims just to start an uprising.
Whether the film is real or not Barry and Hillary apologizing for the film which was used only as an excuse (since debunked as the real reason for the violence)are only ginning up more possible violence within the Muslim world because their acknowledging the movie in public only informs Muslims in the world about the very existence of such a movie. And we know how they react to a mere cartoon.
The blood is already on their hands for failing to warn those in harms way after they learned about possible attacks, the blood will really be on their hands if any further violence happens due to their acknowledgement of the video.
Perhaps Obama (already anti-Israel) had made a promise to the Muslim brotherhood that he would remove the support of Israel from the DNC platform. When Obama saw a loss of support because of it he may have reluctantly allowed them to put it back in. The Muslim Brotherhood were angered by this, I suppose which may be why Obama snubs Israel today and invites the Muslim Brotherhood to the White House for a meeting next week.
The organizers of the protests/attacks may have used the existence of an anti-Muslim film to get others to join, just as they recruited protesters in the name of "freedom" during the so-called "Arab Spring".
This is an anti-Israel/Anti-American protest. Pure and simple.
I think that's what is really going on. Spiking the football too much about Bin Laden and breaking a promise to the Muslim Brotherhood.

Brilliant! I never thought of that. Bragging about killing Bin Laden and putting Israel back in the platform. And, as you point out, more than likely breaking a promise to the Muslim Brotherhood.
This may be one of the things he meant when he said to Putin he’d have more flexibility. Maybe he was also talking about the “Jew Problem”.
