I live in NY, a hopelessly blue state. There is very little I can do locally to help Romney. However, they have an excellent phone-from-home system this year, much better than other phone banks I've done before.
I started making phone calls from home for Romney. It is easy, well-supported, and free. It is important to start now so they can target the right people. You can get started at http://www.mittromney.com/call-home-landing
I sat on my hands last election because I didn't like McCain. Even though Romney was not my first choice, our very existence is at stake now. Please pass this on to all your political friends. The calls made now help identify voters who can be moved to vote for Romney.
My goal is to make at least 10,000 calls. They really make it quick and easy. I do not want to be partly responsible for 0bama getting reelected.
If you are in red or purple state, then I hope you get involved with the local Romney campaign. If you are in a blue state, then please join me in doing what you can from home with phone calls.
Next, please pass this on to your friends also in red states. Let's create an army of workers bigger than the unions do for the Dems. And please let me know personally if this helped you get started working on the campaign.

Are you allowed/able to call outside of your state? It’s no use calling within a Blue state for Romney.
I disagree. Some Democrats are switching over because of Obama. It could make a difference even if a state goes to Obama. Numbers matter.
I and others here are with you. I believe that a few of the rabid "no-Romney-no-matter-the-cost" folks have slowed down their attacks - hopefully because the full weight of the ramifications of another Obama term would be have become evident to them. If they're just tired of having to ignore common sens, they will be back with a final attack on what's left of America as the election gets closer.....

For the record, of course I voted for Sarah. What I meant by "sitting on my hands" was that I did not work to help McCain get elected. This was in stark contrast to my having worked very hard in 2004 to re-elect Bush.

In this election, it really is better to vote for the lesser of two evils… At least with Romney, it would appear that the goal is to keep America as #1 in the world.

Its because you and most of your ABR clique have been (for months) the ones who have been proclaiming and posting Scriptures taken out of contest, the loudest, the longest, and the most obnoxious that you're the 'pure ones', the 'correctly conservative' ones, the 'true believers with the most faith' that I am following suit and posting Scriptures, in context, to refute your claims, as well as pointing to logical examples of the consequences of your illogical claims and points of view.
Some have slowed for reasons you stated. Others mostly because JR came around. But most of the rabid need to have their shots.
