During the past 4 years Obama has done nothing but enhance his own position, and that of his crony's. As a president he's a train wreck. His main activity is buying votes with our money. Even those on the dole must realize that if the economy goes bust those checks will stop. His lies and broken promises could fill a telephone book. I can't list even a fraction of the underhanded crap he fostered. Only after he's deposed will the whole truth be known,resulting hopefully in his deportation to Kenya or any of his beloved Islamic countries. Vote him OUT!!!
They either ignore the news outright (poor folk looking for free Obama bucks) or are in the MSNBC echo chamber.

I still argue most people don’t know the truth. Where are they going to hear it, ABC? CBS? NBC? CNN? any of the propaganda outlets for Obama?
I’d love to see the grassroots catch on fire and fight the damn media. Small town papers, newsletters, blogs, just telling people the truth and alerting them to what’s at stake?
In a roundabout way you have defined the problem. The people on the dole DO NOT realize that the checks will stop..and there in lies the answer to why we are in such imminent trouble.

Every time I see a pro-Obummer sticker on a car, I wonder what they could possibly like about what he’s done to our country. Must be that they are on the dole, suffer from the mental disorder of liberalism, or are just plain old stupid.
They’re driving....do they like $4 gasoline? How about expensive groceries, do they like that? How about a 40 percent average decline in our net worth (like our home values)? Etc, etc. Even super dimwitted dems have to be noticing financial pain.
In the 30+ years I have been voting and talking to voters I have had the same conversation with many democRAT voters.
I ask why they vote for the D party.

I am related to supposedly intelligent people who are going to vote for him. It looks like I will be severing ties with some of my own family members over this. I have tried to get through to them but they’re socialists who are too stubborn to see the truth.
Well can you believe that there are people stupid enough not to vote against him?
The frightening thing is that due to the intelligence of the average voter, he has a better than a 50-50 chance of being re-elected.

Both parties are running on a “we’ll preserve your freebies by putting more people to work to pay for them” platform.

My absolute biggest nightmare fear is that the population of 41% of 1980 idiots has grown to a frightening 52.5% solid majority of idiot 2012 voters. Mass drones of government cultists. It is, after all, learned behavior by leftist design. Obama acts as if he’s positively certain this is the electoral situation and that he cannot loose. If true then we have ahead of us nothing to look forward to but perpetual madness and crisis until the collapse finally comes oh so ‘unexpectedly’. The press will feign such shock at the completely predictable miserable outcome.
( The media and the public unions, especially in education, and their political enablers, who are supposed to be representing ALL of us, are the complete enemy of our liberties )
If the Reagan coalition does not emerge with a forceful mandate-majority in this election (50+ LONG days from now), I will then know the answer to this fundamental question, and we will go Galt and just stop even trying to help our country avoid the catastrophe that modern progressivisim / socialism will no doubt bring upon our nation. This house will simply turn it all off and ride it out as best as any American can expect to. 2008 made me cry. 2010 gave me a thin string of hope while causing Boehner to cry. 2012 is to me without a doubt the critical measurement of the sanity and prudence remaining in this country. If we fail this, it’s over. Decline is imminent.
If we are victorious, we will still have PLENTY of work to do to fumigate the Media and Universities and tear these demented people out of our government by the damn roots. Pray for America. I have been doing so regularly.

Oh yeah, Conservatives work will just be starting if we win. Problem is Conservatives tend to win elections and then go to sleep. It happened in 1994 and 2000.
The system is rigged to move politicians to what the Political/Media establishment sees as an acceptable level of progressive Fascism. Even the best people go to DC and start getting corrupted almost at once.
All this election does is stop the hemorrhaging, it will take years and several more elections to start healing the damage

We have some converts in the Family who actually called me out of the blue to inform me that I was right about Obama all these years. I'm still not sure what one thing woke them up but I'm not pushing for explanations, just their Vote for the Republican in November.
Ignorance is curable but Stupidity is forever.
I do know one B-I-L will be persona non grata for sure. I am hoping his Wife will waiver, but he did manage to turn her from being a strong Republican to a whining Democrat in less than a year after they met.
