I found these picures on a popular website called REDDIT

I don't know the context of these pictures. I don't know if they are Christian Libyans, or maybe the USA paid them for propaganda purposes. I just found them interesting nonetheless. Maybe there are a handful of sane Libyans after all.

I saw those photos in a website posted by a liberal and the site appeared to be liberal.

They appeared to me to be possibly photo shopped but I cannot say for sure. I’m sure some Freepers would know. (I wish I could find that site)

I wish I could read the signs that aren't in English. This looks like a legitimate pro-USA gathering. It's hard to trust anyone when muslims who live in the U.S. never seem to want to speak up and defend the freedom they enjoy here. Has anyone seen a gathering of American muslims denouncing what is going on in Libya and elsewhere in the Middle East?

If there are, either they are old enough, or they have parents old enough, to remember that the US had military bases in Libya before Ghadaffi and that the US had a good relationship with Libyans at one point.

For a while, my dad was stationed at Wheelus Air Bas. It was a major hub for USAF transport and strategic bombers and tankers, and even functioned as a fighter base. One of my friends from childhood, her dad was stationed at Wheelus as well, and she and her family lived off base (don't know if there was even on-base housing) and they never had any problems.

Then again, this was the 1950s, and people still remembered that the allies liberated North Africa from the Nazis.
