I’m guessing they apologized for the sake of republicans because I doubt the Dems would have figured it out. I had a chat with my daughter who was raised by her Dem father thanks to the courts. She was heavily involved with Young Democrats in college. She didn’t know who Harry Reid was. I got the opportunity to throw a few monkey wrenches into her gears. I hope Romney will use this in his ads. It would be funny as Hell to see a TV ad with those ships and the words, “The Commander in Chief of the US armed forces, inlcuding the Navy, has no idea what OUR ships look like.”
