Power attracts the lowlife and repels the good. But the good NEEDS to be at the helm, regardless.
People who actually WORKED for a living, raised kids, put their lives in harm’s way, been hungry, cold, and worried about the electricity bill not being paid - these are the people who NEED to be legislators, because these are the ONLY people who understand what real life is like at our level - not some overpaid, pampered ACLU lawyer turned career politician who’s been sucking at the public teat for 30 years.
What does THAT “thing” have in common with ANY of us? Nothing...not a damned thing at all.
People like Col Allen West, Sarah Palin, Paul Ryan, Gov Scott Walker, Michelle Bachmann, are good folks, and the Tea Party movement is scaring the hell out of the Corrupt Bastards Club.
We just need to keep pushing these lousy career criminals out of office, one office at a time, and replacing them with Patriots who will do what is best for the Country before themselves.
It might take our entire lifetime to do so...but what else can we do? Roll over and GIVE it to the other side?

So far the only one I have seen of them who has whipped Dems is Scott Walker. West is great to listen to but his career under Boehner has been uneventful.
The Tea party really hasn't laid a glove on Dems since 2010 when the last protests/rallies ended after Boehner took the House and they became the scapegoat. Now House Republicans are whipped and terrified of Obama and so the Tea party has no national political party to support, That is the great irony.
If Scott Walker was the national leader he has been in WI we would have a chance. But now we have Romney. Boehner, McConnell, McCain, Cantor, too depressing, They are Obama's bitches.
