President Barack Obama is in Las Vegas for a quick campaign stop focusing on economic policies.
Air Force One touched down at McCarran International Airport at about 3:45 p.m. Wednesday for the president's eighth appearance this year in Nevada.
Obama will speak before a Democratic campaign audience at a convention hall just north of downtown Las Vegas before departing for Denver.

President Barack Obama wasted little time on his arrival Wednesday afternoon at McCarran International Airport.
Unlike his previous visits to the Las Vegas Valley, there were no crowds, political officials or Air Force officers on hand to greet him. Air Force One landed around 3:45, and 15 minutes later, Obama descended from the plane and immediately left in his motorcade.
