Mark Levin says that Romneys handling of the embassy attacks are perhaps his finest hour of the campaign, saying that he has handled himself in a very Reaganesque manner. He says Romney sounds like a president while Obama sounds like a drone:

I even called Sen. Coburn and Inhofe’s office and asked them to please release a statement or something in support of Romney and so far....nothing....silence. It is like they do not want to touch the issue with a ten-foot pole.
That statement about not hurting muslim feelings was so over the top that Romney had to say something and I was so glad he did...it was the right thing to do.
agree it stuns me why some on here even watch MSNBC, CNN etc, I refuse to add to their ratings
BTW, I'm not a member of Congress either and let me say this about that, the only thing Obama is doing correctly is preparing to send our fleet of drone battlebots into that country and exterminate the perps and their friends.
Make every shot count ~ burn the place to the ground ~ leave 'em eating dead donkeys and roasted cricket meat.
When I see those polls, I have no ability to believe them. I keep thinking “Are there really that many ignorant people out here?”
I agree- and he did it all with authority- but not with hubris.
It’s very difficult to wrap my mind around all this- even Carter- as dreadful as he was- loved the country. I have never been able to shake the deep sense that no matter WHAT this president says he simply doesn’t understand America. I think part of it is what the film 2016 shows- but it’s more than that. He is not at home here.
Romney looked good. Obama looked inept and the MSM knows it.
Dead American bodies in the streets as a result of an uprising we supported? Not good foreign policy!
Today my husband expressed your exact thoughts. He is coming through in the crisis.
Both are Traitor Losers who hate America!
Jimmy Carter's presidency was doomed by the Iranian hostage crisis after the US embassy in Tehran was stormed by Islamist extremists following the Iranian revolution.
A year after the 52 Americans were taken hostage, Carter lost the 1980 election. The hostages were released just as President Ronald Reagan, who defeated Carter, was sworn in.

Thanks to RushIsMyTeddyBear and Focault's Pendulum and for finding these morphing graphic art realities!
I wonder if Romney thought anyone would be out to defend him? Lyndsey Graham was on TV but he didn’t....MCcain refused to. Dan Coats threw him under the bus. It was hard to watch the Republicans today. You expect it from the media which is why the Republicans needed to come out swinging.
But like you said....Romney won’t owe them anything if he wins....and Lord help us all if he doesn’t.
Bttt
Prove he's got some guts.
Vote. Get your conservative friends out to vote. The Democrats, media and pollsters are convinced the Democratic turnout will be higher than the GOP. We can not let that happen.
Any patriotic American would have said the same thing as Romney if they had the stage.
You are probably right..it was just frustrating watching no one stick up for Romney and the press beat up on him all day when Romney is right and they are WRONG!
And maybe I should be upset with Romney surrogates...I saw some of them also and they didn’t do a great job defending his position when he has a great and just position. That statement about hurting muslim feelings is indefensible and I am sick and tired of being told to be tolerant of muslims when they continue to kill Americans....especially on 9/11. But I know I am preaching to the choir...
“Romney faced the nation by taking questions from journ-o-lists, Obama turned his back on us and them.”
I noticed the same thing. Quite a contrast. Romney stood his ground and slapped those presstitutes around. The barrage of critical questions he got was pathetic. Barry OTOH made a bumbling statement and ran away without taking a question.
Remember that they criticized Romney for NOT talking about Afghanistan.
Romney was excellent today. He gets a donation after all.
