Rubbish I do not believe this story.
I believe this was the first attempt on the ambassador's life, and this Libyan guard died doing his duty, and repelling militants. Probably, he was all alone in this.
They then staged a second attack, in Benghazi, a few days later, and met with no resistance at all.
