This is especially true of the "soft" sciences - psychology, sociology, etc., particularly if they're done in the context of a secular university. They're done with the desired end in mind and engineered to produce that end.

My son plans on leaving the California Guard when his time is up. One reason is acceptance of homosexuals. The other, related, is the toadying by high level officers who don’t give a damn about the troops.
Of course, the study wouldn’t investigate this...

A lot of the officers have too much time invested to rock the boat.
