I'm thinking that the embassy attacks had less to do with the film, and more to do with celebrating the anniversary of 9/11.

That said, it would be interesting if American Jews could make the Arab world explode in Obama's face in the weeks before the election, by simply publicly mocking Mohammed at every opportunity.

I think you are spot on and anyone in the Administration, particularly the State Department, who can’t make that connection should be fired for incompetence.
