They’re more like jackasses but I had to make the metaphor work.
Well...., jackasses can be broken to harness & made into useful pack animals. Their stubborness seldom kills.
But there’s no good use or purpose on Earth for jackals and they prey in running packs upon the helpless....if you get my drift.
