The White House has brushed aside an offer by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to meet with President Obama later this month, Israeli officials told Fox News. The apparent snub came despite a state of heightened alert over Iran’s nuclear program and the possibility of Israeli action.
Sources said Netanyahu, though he plans to be in New York City during his brief stay, was offering to travel to D.C. to make the meeting happen. However, the White House apparently said Obama’s tight schedule – the president is in the middle of a feverish campaign schedule -- would make a meeting difficult.
The turn-down comes amid increasing international anxiety about Iran’s nuclear program. The U.N. reportedly has found new intelligence showing Iran is moving toward nuclear weapon capability.
But the exchange between the White House and the prime minister’s office is the most recent in what is seen as a cool, if not strained, relationship between Obama and Netanyahu, despite Israel being considered one of the United State’s closest allies.
One well-placed Jewish-American leader told Fox News that the White House has not yet fully ruled out moving things around on the schedule in order to accommodate Netanyahu – but that as of now, Obama is scheduled to be on the campaign trail during the window of time when Netanyahu can make it to Washington.

Fortunately, some are waking up. I saw a report that now only 59% support Obama, 35% Romney ... and that's what they admit. I think that the figures are really much closer to even, but even if those figures are accurate it is a huge change and could affect Florida and maybe OH and PA if they are close.
So what do you want me to do? not vote? Anything at this point is better than Obama..Romney was never my first choice, second choice, third choice, etc etc but its either Romney or the destruction of Israel/America

That would be kind of stupid. Of course that's not what happened here; Netanyahu is visiting at the end of this month.

Obama is a total jerk. Obama insisted on the record that Mubarak step down. Any of the consequences stemming from that insistence are on him. He can’t escape responsibility just with some glib speech.

I just heard on Fox News that its confirmed that Obama will NOT meet with Netanyahu..gee Obama is really throwing it in everyone’s face how he despises Israel..will more Jews wake up, I sure hope so. I was watching the Chabad Telethon over the weekend and was told by my brother(Who always vote Dem but I think he’s beginning to wake up, in fact yesterday he came to me and for the first time called Obama a “One big ass mistake America”) that Orthodox Jews vote Republican, its the rest of them that unfortunately vote Democrat

I think if Israel knows that Obama will win re-election they will go ahead and take out Iran’s nukes, they know they have no choice, so expect that to happen before the election(especially if they get word that Obama will win) if they feel that Romney will win they will hold off on doing anything so watch for what is going on in Israel that will be a huge indicator of what might happen in the election

True but thats not nearly enough, trust me I wish she had run, or at least gave a speech at the RNC, but the RNC chose to keep her out, and Newt too, very disappointing but thats what happens when RINOS run the party, but what can we do now, have to stop Obama, that is priority #1, we can deal with Romney later, stopping Obama is the ONLY option
Not sure thats what it is. He must know that Israel will attack Iran’s nukes, this way he can say “I had no idea, I was never notified” that way the far left kooks won’t drop him like a sack of potatoes
I thought about moving there as well but my mind is also set on wanting to move to New Zealand.
