FL is my state so I can only go on from what I see and who I talk to.
In 2008 there were not many obama stickers or signs and I stil say there was no way he won this state , hell Mccain won this tate on the night 53% to 47% but early voting gave the state to obama which we know they vote more than once and early.

Today , this year I’ve seen no more than 5 obama stickers, no signs except one outside the obama Dem campaign building.

I know a couple who voted for him and they said they will not vote for him this time, I know my MIL up in MA who is a life long Dem voter, JFK and all that.
She voted for Brown and now is going to vote against obama, she can;t stand the man and even has woken up tot he media lying up in her state MA.

Now I do live in one of the most republican counties in FL which is St Johns county[ St Augustine]

But even going into Jacksonville I seen only one obama sticker for obama and that was a black woman.
LOL She also has God bless sticker, a cross in the fornt of the car, I guess she did not hear about his homosexual agenda, killing babies and making Christians ignore their religion and the first amendment

My impressions as well. I'm just over the border of Philadelphia. Last time around, the Obama love was sickening. You couldn't go ten feet without seeing an Obama bumper sticker. Virtually every - and I mean every - car driven by an African American had some sort of Obama sticker. This time around, not so much. Barely any, in fact.

I also noted during the Chick-Fil-A days the large number of African Americans supporting Dan Cathy. That may or may not be relevent - But one thing I'm certain of through my observations is that Obama does not enjoy the level of support from the Black community that he had last time around.

I’d be curious to know if your observations would have held true if you had traveled to Miami rather than Jacksonville. Much like Houston and Dallas, Jacksonville is technically larger than Miami but the Miami metro area dwarfs Jackson’s. The 1996 election map said it all. All it takes is a select few densely populated blue areas to overwhelm an otherwise red state.
