While we may never know if there were other FReepers lost that day, I do know of one who wasn’t.

I won’t name him, because I don’t believe he wants the spotlight. I’ve gotten to know over over many years on one of the many daily threads.

He did not reveal to anyone, until about a year ago, that he missed a flight on THAT DAY. Flight 11.

Such stories abound, PE.

My wife’s cousin was half-way to the train station when he realized he’d forgotten his wallet. He ended up taking a later train and just missed being inside when the first tower fell.

I remember reading first hand accounts by FReepers in the area....I lived at FR on my computer and was glued to the tv at the same time....reading and watching.

God was watching over your FRiend. This time of year must be really rough for him.
