This might help you even more. I grew up on the farm where we butchered our own hogs. My father would shoot the hog in the brain pan with a .22 and then roll it on its back and stick a long knife into the heart or the main artery in the neck. Blood would spurt four feet into the air. After a short time the flow would slow and the spout of blood would drop lower and lower until if finally was only a very slow seep. In the current thinking prevalent among Obama supporters the slowing of the blood flow meant that the hog was “recovering”.
