Just thinking about how much one hour can alter time. Who knew on that beautiful September day, 11 years ago today, that the next 24 hours would forever change our lives?

I did. Got to attend the Paul Ryan rally in Greenville, NC.

The room he spoke to was full - 2100 capacity. There was an overflow area that held 800. Plus a ton of people who didn't get in either place, but listened outside. Afterward his rally inside the arena; Ryan went and met with those in the overflow area and spoke to those who were outside.

There were however, a whopping 7 protesters.

Don’t tell me—all the media focused on was the seven protesters. Right?

Is he as cute in person as he is on TV?

I think he’s better looking in person. He’s very charismatic, too. He comes across as really geniune, and even my in-laws, who, while Republicans, tend to like people like Huckabee and McCain; walked away gushing over Ryan. I left there more energized and excited than I came in and really have to say I think Ryan is a huge asset to Romney and am glad he is deploying him all over!

The media interviewed the 7 protesters repeatedly. Breitbart even posted about it (and barely cut me off in one of their pictures. lol. I was almost famous.)

Ha. My employer uses Blackberry and I thought we would all die when her trackball quit working. Fortunately, they shipped a replacement pretty quickly. The entire office’s sanity hinged on that tiny little ball.

Obama was in town yesterday and FReepers led the "civil unrest" (seriously, Reuters?)

We were such a rowdy bunch :) I think the best part was that they bussed in Obama through da hood.
