I think they should push abortion any way and every way they can from now 'til the election.
Most Americans hate abortion. For decades, the left has been masterful at working hard to keep almost all abortions legal, while pretending that abortion is “rare†and happens only in cases such as rape and when the mother’s life is in jeopardy. What Cokie ROberts et al are objecting to is the DNC’s letting the cat out of the bag: abortions are common and most happen for the sake of convenience. CR was not (really) objecting to those realities, she was just warning the left that if the real story gets out, abortion on demand as the law of the land will be imperiled.
