Joshua 24 too.

I am very stuck on this spectacle we witnessed as a Nation. This ...denial of God. Of Israel...

This is a profound thing that has happened and the faux efforts to ‘put God and Israel’ back into the platform. This was not the action of a contrite heart or leader.

14 Now therefore fear the Lord, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the Lord.

15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Yes - the Old Covenant is indeed rich with instructions on how to live. I usually try to stick with the New Covenant when posting because it is the Covenant we are living under, but the Old Covenant lays out God's Plan for us and sets the stage with more wisdom than most of us will ever grasp, let aolone use...

God Bless
