Mitt Romney says Bill Clinton's speech to the Democratic National Convention "really did elevate" that gathering and that the former two-term president might even be able to win another four years in the White House "if the Constitution weren't in his way." Romney's comments, in an excerpt of an interview with Meet the Press, came as Clinton prepared to campaign for President Barack Obama in key swing states.

Zero has his people deny God 3 times in the most public way...

When you put it in those words, it made me think of

Matthew 26:34

Jesus said to him, "Truly I say to you that this very night, before a rooster crows, you will deny Me three times."

This is why its so important to put good solid conservatives in the house and senate.

This is why it is important to nominate a solid conservative. I knew this idiot was not ready for prime time. When you don’t have a core, you cannot pretend. He will cause us 4 more years of misery either with him as President or Obama. What a disaster that I predicted long ago. Of course nobody believed me. I guess they believe me now!!!!

You have done a great job pointing out how wrong it was to nominate a fraud like Romney. Well they never gave you any respect or credit. I bet they are embarrassed as heck for supporting this turd.

Why are you yelling at him? He is not the one who is the idiot that said the stupid statement, Romney is. Yell at Romney if you need to vent. Romney needs to get his act together. A person posting or expressing their truthful opinion is fine.

Only idiots will help elect Obama because Romney is not conservative enough. ONLY IDIOTS!

ONLY an useful IDIOT would say romney isn't conservative enough - ROMNEY IS A GODLESS LIBERAL and he hates conservatism and PATRIOTS. Romney being the GOP pick from the get go is what will HELP elect Obama. Keep it honest!

Obama the capitalism-hating, liberty-hating, America-hating, godless Marxist/communist must be completely destroyed politically!! To allow him another term in the presidency would be to allow the total destruction of America.

As much as I detest what the Republican party has become, there is no other party on this earth that can come anywhere close to accomplishing what must be accomplished to keep America from spiraling down a Marxist/communist toilet.”

And don't try to lay a guilt trip on those of us who won't vote for Romney should he lose.

You will have contributed to Obama's win, fatnotlazy.

It's a bold fact not a guilt trip. Like it or not, "people like me", will hold you responsible.

Get your head out of your "fat rump".

Now you’re really being childish. Did you throw a lot of temper tantrums when you were a little kid?

You’re going to hold me responsible should Obama win a second term. Man, I’m scared! (NOT!)

I may have my head up my rump, but you and the rest of the ABO crowd have yours in the sand if you think Romney is your savior. Good luck with him.

I view that as "damning with faint praise".

If you view the Donk Convention as a lying contest, you'd have to admit that Mitt got it right: Clinton elevated the Democrat Convention to a whole new level of prevarication. There is no more accomplished liar on the political scene in 2012 than Billy Jeff.

For instance, compare Billy to three-time loser Antonio Villaraigosa. Billy had testimonials from women who want to (1) vote for him and (2) sleep with him. By contrast, Mayor Tony had doubters even among the MSM!

I didn't like McCain in 2008, but I voted for him anyway. I won't do that again. I refuse to be a sheep and blindly go along with the dictates of this party. I will not allow you or anyone else try to shame or intimidate me into voting for a lousy candidate.

The President and Mr Axelrod congratulate you on your Useful Idiocy.

Romney is not running against Clinton, he’s running against Obama. Saying a few nice things about Clinton is a way of subtly slamming Obama. It’s like when Obama praises Reagan and then imply that the current Republicans are nothing like Reagan.

Romney and his staff were behind the first attacks on Sarah Palin. They did this in the hopes that if the GOP candidates lost he could run this time. Romney got his wish and we got Obama.

Yup. Its a replay of 2008 right down to dictating what is important to the people. In the end, Paul Ryan will be where they lay the blame.

Romney is the choice because people like you will continue to vote for anyone with the letter R after his name. The party hierarchy knows this and that's why they will continue to foist mediocre candidates on you.

The GOPe didn't foist Romney on us. Romney is the candidate because that's who they (not me) voted for, and because the Conservative candidates literally self destructed.

It wasn't the GOPe's fault that Bachman, who was winning, gaffed herself out of contention. Or that Cain, who was winning later, either couldn't control himself or caved over easily refutable charges. Or that Newt had a woman problem.

And what happened at FR during the primaries wasn't the GOPe's fault. I was here when Freepers literally destroyed the Conservative choices apart from the ones they supported. By the time we were finished, Romney was the only candidate left unscathed.

So here we are, having to choose between Romney or four more years of Obama. For me the choice is clear. Obama wouldn't have to worry about re-election, and he has already shown he'll use executive orders to get around Congress. What's to stop him from going all out if he is re-elected?

My choice is to vote for Romney to stop Obama, and vote for a Conservative Congress to stop Romney.

I unfortunately don't have the luxury of lying to myself. The GOP changed the rules the night AFTER the primary in my state. They are no different the democrats.

The Michigan Republican Party (MRP) Credentials Committee voted 4-2 last night to give Mitt Romney both of the state's at-large delegates, State Policy Committee Chair Mike Cox told MIRS today.

Cox was one of two "no" votes on the committee which met via telephone, along with attorney Eric Doster The "yes" votes included GOP National Committeeman Saul Anuzis, a Romney supporter, and MRP Chair Bobby Schostak.

That would put the delegate split at 16 for Romney and 14 for Rick Santorum, after each candidate won 14 delegates apiece in those divided by Michigan's 14 congressional districts.

As MIRS first reported on Wednesday, the MRP was delaying a final decision on the delegate split until after consulting with attorneys.

Cox said that according to the MRP rules, Santorum and Romney should each get one of Michigan's two at-large delegates based on their take of the popular vote.

"I supported Mitt, but the vote was clearly wrong," Cox said of the Credentials Committee. "It's kind of like Third World voting. We published rules and then we voted to change the rules."
