Eastwood's stunt opened the door for the great national mocking of Prez Hussein.
Either he doesn’t get it yet, or he is pretending to not get it.

(This is not a statement of fact. It is either opinion or satire; or both)

He gets it, just doesn’t want to admit it.

Correctamundo.... and the mocking of old Bozo will continue unabated.

Either he doesnt get it yet, or he is pretending to not get it. Liberals consider themselves the ultimate arbiter of what is hip. They are the trend setters and they and only they can say when you have "it" and when you don't.
But when a megawatt celebrity like Eastwood turns the table on them, they look very irrelevant by comparison.

You’re exactly right. In a very real sense, the Eastwood speech was a game changer.

Hey Ben!
Joe the Plumber was the last guy to insult Obama but that didn’t work out well at all. This might, but I am not sure.

I watch CNBC with great regularity, because it is an excellent source for equity market related information. Judging from his body language, over the years, John Harwood is not happy with news that supports Conservatives, or Conservative positions. He is also, however, not comfortable with admitting a bias. This is but one of a myriad of examples of how he handles his discomfort.
I would not worry about what he said. Of course it does not accord with the reality of Eastwood's effect. It is merely an example of how Harwood handles some aspects of his employment.
He is probably a nice man personally--just indoctrinated in imaginary concerns.
