Harwood’s statement is a no-brainer. It would be counter productive for the liberal media and punditry to declare Mr. Eastwood’s speech a success.

I don't know what else John Harwood may have said or done, but based on everything newsbusters has posted it's hard to deny that he's essentially been a Democrat operative for some time now.

If it were such a failure then why is the left and their media still talking about it? If it didn’t have a ring of truth, why can’t the left let it go?
Harwood said it because he does not like what Eastwood said. Like most liberal prognosticators, he has little or nor proof for his assertions.
