But the Fun Part of this is that defense companies need to give 90 days notice of layoffs and they want to do this before the election in order to meet the Jan 1 deadline. These would be notices of potential layoffs if it isn’t stopped. O wants them to hold off.

The O-Hole in chief (let’s all replce ‘A-hole’ with ‘O-hole....that will really fire up the libs!!) had no intention of meeting this dealine...self-imposed or not. The more he can cut the military the better in his eyes.

It's a 60 day notification due to the WARN Act for any employer of more than 500 employees. The cuts would be effective January 1st, so the notifications go our November 1st. Perfect timing just days before the election. Obama has been trying to get his lackey Labor Secretary Hilda Solis to tell companies not to issue the notices. That is illegal. Companies won't expose themselves to the liability of being sued for not issuing the notices. The RATS have created a fine mess for themselves.

My employer has lots of DoD contracts. Many of us (myself included) are waiting for the other shoe to drop.
