That doesn’t make sense—why shoot a dead person? And why was the dead neighbor at the church for a community meeting, and not a funeral?

Or... is the problem actually bad headline writers?

Reading the article, seems not to be jihad. Just regular murderous insanity. Then again, there is a “homeowners’ association” involved. They may have driven him insane!

Hindi wrote. 'Thank God the house is paid off. I can pass away in peace with no concerns.'

I think the house won't be left as part of the estate after they are through with the civil suits.

I live 20 minutes away from this place...my sons used to play baseball at the church’s ball fields. I just saw the news story on our local news, when I logged on to FR and saw this post. Too close for comfort...

Just from the title I have to wonder why this doctor shot his dead neighbor?

Murder suspect called neighbors "ruthless, selfish and egocentric."
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The man accused of shooting two people in a east Louisville church had been involved in a long-running dispute with a local homeowners' association, according to police.

Police say they are still poring over all the documents, but they have been able to piece together some of the background of the dispute that may have led Mahmoud Hindi to murder.

One person was killed and another critically injured in a shooting at Springdale Community Church, in the 4600 block of Springdale Road near the Summit Shopping Center. Police say Hindi shot the men during a homeowners' association meeting that was taking place inside the church.

Hindi lived in a house down the street from the church, with several members of his family. The property was apparently in the name of one of his sons, also named Mahmoud.

The argument with the neighbors began more than a year ago, when the family erected a fence at their home -- and it continued when they built a driveway.

The Metro Department of Public Works and Assets determined that both were illegally constructed and violated the city's Land Development Code.

The driveway dispute ultimately went to District Court, where a misdemeanor charge was dismissed this past June.

Evidently he was told he had to tear down the fence and tear up his driveway.

Guess he showed them.

Why did I know this was a Muslim upon seeing the headline only?

Hmmmmmmmmmmm.

Now the Brits are getting involved in Obama’s war against the Second Amendment.

Somebody should tell those idiots over there to go back to sucking up to their homegrown Muslims by banning crosses in hospitals and at jobs. They are not fit to criticize a free people.

They have become the quintessential Quisling to the Muslims.

“shooting dead neighbor” ?

can you be charged with murder for shooting a dead man?

The real question is: “Are there no competent writers left?”

Here's the Google Street View of his house, presumably before the fence, etc. I note it's along the same street of the 73 year old victim's residence. All this per news photos and videos. It's a very "cookie cutter" neighborhood, even if it's upscale, and it's not surprising that there's an association to keep things the way they were planned. I'm sure the doctor signed off on all this when he moved in.

If the neighbor was dead, why shoot him? And what was a dead neighbor doing at the meeting anyway? Was this “Weekend at Bernie’s”?
