By "We" may I assume you mean the party bosses and consultants in Washington, like Karl Rove issuing murder threat jokes, who have more negative things to say about conservative GOP candidates than they do of the opposition???

By “we” I meant the Republican Party. That would include The GOP establishment (RINOs) and the rank-and-file who keep electing candidates in the Primary, who are good people but are not up to the task of winning “The Big One” when the time comes. I hope like everything that Mr. Akin wins. I loathe Claire McCaskill. But, I would not bet my next paycheck on it. Will I be here after the Election? Well, I’ll wait and see how lively the place is after the Election. I’m a political junkie. If the place is “jumping” I’ll be here. If it’s dead, I’ll go back to playing Solitaire on line. (Smiling)
