Krauthammer On Obama: "One Of The Emptiest Speeches I Have Ever Heard" (video)
RealClearPolitics ^ | September 6, 2012 | Ian Schwartz

Charles Krauthammer on President Obama's convention speech: "I was stunned. This is a man who gave one of the great speeches of our time in 2004. And he gave one of the emptiest speeches I have ever heard on a national stage. Yes it had cadence, and yes, there were deceptions in it, but that is not what is so striking about it. There was nothing in it. This is a man who believes that government can and should do a lot. There's nothing here that tells us how he's going to go from today to tomorrow."

Your posts are fine-all posts here are basically welcome and fine, irregardless of opinion. But you might want to hit the spell button just before you hit the post button so that your typos show up for you and you can correct them. Misspelled words are sometimes hard to understand and make the author appear uneducated.

Empty suit. Empty chair. Empty stadium. Empty speech.

Anyone else see a pattern here?

The difference is Reagan believed In what he was saying and you can feel it.

Reagan wasn't just a "great communicator" -- he also communicated great things. You could have amazing gifts of rhetoric, but that gets wasted when you focus on the petty and trite.

I’m not trying to disrespect or argue with you, either, so please don’t take this as a slam against you. There’s nothing wrong with Cottshop’s intelligence because he/she can put forth their opinion intelligently, but they have hinted that there IS a disability. Why not just acknowledge that and continue with the conversation, which is actually about Charles Krauthammer’s assessment of Zero’s speech? Calling someone out on spelling/grammar is one thing; belittling them is another. I just believe that’s beneath us, as Conservatives.

Krauthammer nailed what the Obama NEW PLAN is: “ - - - There’s nothing here that tells us how he’s going to go from today to tomorrow.”

To those FReepers who scoff and claim that this is not a plan, let me remind you what the REAL Leader of the Democrat Party said the night before: “ - - - I want you to listen to me, -—, this is important, -—, NO President, including me, could have solved the economic problems that Obama inherited. NOBODY!”

IMPEACHED Zipper-Boy knows a lot about lies and incompetence, and recognized that drug-fried brain, arrogant, inexperienced, incompetent Obama would never be able to figure out the expression “It’s the economy, stupid.”

Hence, Clinton wisely chose to convince the DNC faithful that nobody could have fixed the economy, and that Obama proven himself over and over again to be that special nobody. (As if Clint’s Empty Chair didn’t sum that up also).

Thus, the ‘Nobody’ Obama’s NEW PLAN is the shoddy re-make of FDR’s NEW DEAL: “There’s nothing here that tells us how he’s going to go from today to tomorrow.”

[[Why not just acknowledge that and continue with the conversation, ]]

Because they are too imature and too disrespectful of others to let it go- they apparently feel the need to make themselves feel better by belittling others- if that’s what it takes to have them feel good abotu htemselves, then whatever- we live a totally different age today where None respects anyoen anymore-

[[I just believe that’s beneath us, as Conservatives.]]

I would haVE thought so too but apparently the folsk engagign in group frenzy don’t realize that-

[[Misspelled words are sometimes hard to understand and make the author appear uneducated]]

with all due respect- I’m not here to ‘appear’ like anything- The content of my posts are fien, and if peopel are too shallow to get past their chuildish spelling idiosychrities, then that’s their problem- not mine- I’ve explained why I’m not goign to go through the 1000’s of words I type daily and if peopel can’t accept that then too bad- if they wish to be shallow and ranto n abotu somethign as petty as spelling, then that shows their charater- or lack thereof rather-

nobodies ballwashing anyoen tull- and if you think this threaqd has been ‘soft’ then I’d hate to see what you think is hard- the imature attitudes I’ve witnessed here are reminiscent of huffington post threads or DC underground threads- but if that’s the kind of ‘tradition’ that you enjoy, well then whatever- I simply htought conservatives were a higher class of peopel than the left, but I’m seeign here that that isn’t necessarily the case- I guess I set the bar too high in regards to conservative civility- and apaprently you just couldn’t help yourself and jyust had to jump on the bandwagon with all the other immature posters who have chinmed in huh?

With all due respect, was trying to be helpful. It is hard to work through misspelled words if context of sentence does not make it easy to assume what the word is...if you don’t care, fine, but imo-that is a bit on the ‘CHUILDISH’ side of things. (Did I get that right?)
