Not to offend you or anyone else, but the political leanings of any christian church leader are a definite turn off for me. Their job is to teach the word of God from the bible........

That's one of the reasons why I am still searching for a church that meets my needs.......

Sorry, but you are wasting your time. If you have a Bible believing Pastor with eyes to see and ears to hear, yet he is blind and deaf to the assault on our founding principles, the demonic reaction to any mention of God and the raging battle against all things decent being waged by the left with Obama as their savior, then no amount of facts and logic will change that.

Better to join forces with like minded believers than be stranded someplace “having the form of religion but lacking the power thereof”.

Many thanks! No, I’m not lazy. Lazy would have been just getting pissed, leaving the church, and not taking the time to have this productive talk which could affect many congregants who are otherwise in the dark due to 0bama’s state controlled media.

Reminds me of a talk I had with an older gentlemen and who tried to correct the church. When I asked him how many battles he won, he looked down at the floor and said, “none of them.”

On an encouraging note, I would suggest you present Revelations chapter 2 and see if he agrees that the church needs to repent and go back to it’s first love. Don’t use your agruments, use Gods word.

I would ask if he believes that he will be saved by forcing others to do the right thing against their will.

Does he believe others will be saved if they are forced to do the right thing against their will?

Does he believe in collective salvation if government forces all to give against their will. Is there salvation for a evil man who pays his taxes but continues to do evil?

I would follow those questions by asking why you should worry about your own personal salvation if government is going to do it for you?

I’m not Catholic but I agree with the Pope on this one. Collective Salvation is demonically inspired. After all, what better way to get people to neglect their own souls than to convince them that its already taken care of when they pay taxes.

To leave or not to leave, it's up to you.

Many on here are saying that you should leave and find a better church, and that may be your only recourse, but you do what the Lord tells you to do. If He wants you to stay and battle, then do so. If He wants you to leave, then leave and find a better church.

I'm in the same type of predicament. The church I attend is awash in liberal thinking and they are using watered down versions of the Bible, like "The Voice." I have tried to point out the inaccuracies and outright blasphemous words in that translation to no avail. But right now this is where God wants me and that's where I'll stay until further notice.
