“Obama advisers don’t expect big bounce in polls”
Yeah...I wouldn’t either.

Democrats are just trying to preempt the speculation about “what happened?” when there is no post-convention bounce after this disaster in Charlotte.

I’m curious if there has ever been a convention where there was a negative bounce?
This could be the one.

Yes, I would say it will stay “tight as a tick” until your boss is blown away in an “unexpected” landslide poofer.

What a clown show. The Republicans could create 1000 ads from all that material. A bounce down is likely.

The AP is reporting this? The DNC internal polling must really suck.

Obama has topped out at 43% +/- a point or two until Nov. when he’ll get a great glimpse of an expanded flyover country which should serve him from getting lost on his farewell flight from the WH to Hawaii in Janurary.

Gotta manage expectations cause there ain’t gonna be one.

President Barack Obama is expected to lay out his vision for a second term, even as advisers say they don't anticipate a big bounce in the polls following the Democratic National Convention. Yeah, I don't either. Nice try to lower expectations, though. After Obama's venue downsizing from the 76,000 outdoor stadium to the indoor 20,000 seat Time Warner Cable Arena, lower expectations seems to be the theme of this mess.
It's almost as if Obama is out to throw the election, isn't it?

White House senior adviser David Plouffe (pluhf) tells ABC's "Good Morning America" he expects the race to remain "tight as a tick"LOL... omg.... you have to be kidding me.....
Does the expression "tight as a tick" now mean "overwhelming blowout on the Republican side"?

Not to be a wet blanket but he’s gotten a huge bounce on Intrade, he’s currently at 59% to win re-election! So discouraging considering that the DNC convention, at least in my eyes, has been a disaster.

They could also be planning some polls that grossly oversample Dems so they can claim “Wow, the president has unexpectedly jumped to a 5 point lead ... call him the comeback kid who never gives up the fight!”
