Everyone was watching FOOTBALL last night, no one saw Bubba’s ELECTRIFYING 48 minute speech. They moved the game to Wednesday so it would not interfere with his majesty’s speech, I forgot and didn’t get my pig skin pickem pick in. Doesn’t matter, I would have picked New York over Dallas. Look for Crissssss Matthews and the gang to declare Obama the winner of the election after he pleasures them tonight with his magic teleprompter.
History channel 2 which I guess is History International with a new name has something on REAGAN tonight. I guess I’ll watch that or the horrible Cubs losing to Washington again, anything but the Queercrat convention. I’ll rely on those of you who are watching it to tell me how many reporters will need to change their underwear.

I’ve been watching ESPN Classic the last few nights (they’re commemorating the 40th anniversary of the 1972 Munich Olympics). On Tuesday they showed the original broadcast of all of Mark Spitz’s races, plus contemporary interviews and whatnot; last night they showed two specials on the kidnapping and eventual murder of the Israeli athletes and coaches by Arab terrorists (the first was the original broadcast, in which they would show the German cops trying to sneak into the room where the “guerrillas” were keeping the hostages, which the terrorists saw on TV and the Germans had to abandon the plan). Both events happened 40 years before to the day, so I’m hoping that they’ll show some other original broadcasts today and during the next few days, including of the infamoous basketball final in which they gave the Russians two do-overs so as to let them win the gold (à la Villarraigosa with the platform-amendment vote at the DNC—that YouTube clip is unbelievable, and it’s clear that even after three tries nowhere near 2/3 voted AYE, which made me quip that at least when the Russians got two do-overs they scored a basket the third time).
