In a rare display of just how quickly a tightly scripted national political convention can unwind, Democrats on Wednesday struggled to complete a voice vote amending their party platform to include language referring to Jerusalem and God.
It took three attempts from Democratic National Convention Chairman Antonio Villaraigosa before the platform was amended, and a loud chorus of delegates yelling "no" met each attempt to pass the changes by voice vote.

I suspect a fair number of hard core Democrats who also count themselves as Jewish when they can bash a Republican were in on the NO VOTE.

For the same reason my son votes for the Dims even though he complains about them all. His grandfather voted straight ticket Democrat.
For example, when President Bush was creating 600,000 to 700,000 jobs a month my son said he should be doing more. Now when Zero creates 150,000 jobs my son will not talk about it. BUT HE WILL VOTE FOR ZERO in November.
Incidentally he has not ever been an Zero fan, he voted for Hillary in the primaries. But he will still vote Democrat.
The dems have always been willing to throw anyone under the bus for Obama, Jerusalem is just another casualty, along with God, of course.
i was driving home from the office (at 8PM) and flipping through the radio stations....XM is having a special and i get it for free for 3 weeks so i pass by Fox radio and stop at CNN radio...
the CNN host is grilling the rat delegate about the boos when Jerusalem and the word God was added to the platform as well as the fact there did not seem to be 50% of the delegates who wanted it added, and the rats have a rule rules that 66% vote is required...the rat delegate protested, was pissed and acted obnoxious but the CNN host was giving it to her pretty good...
I think today was a DISASTER for 0bama and the Democrat party. This will resonate over the next few days and even overshadow 0bama’s speech. It takes a couple days for the average voter to grasp what today meant. This day will go down in history as one of the most demeaning and depressing days in American politics. God out. Jerusalem out. The booing of putting them back in. Our Forefathers are turning.. AGAIN. Just another page in 0bama’s legacy of INTOLERABLE, UNBELIEVABLE, OUTRAGEOUS AND UNACCEPTABLE ACTIONS.

Don’t know that either of them ever created a job. Bush probably did hire a few staff and domestics after he left office. But that’s it.
