You don’t have too. However, I stand by Romney releasing his tax returns. He is the one running for President not me. I guess if he wants my vote, he will.

Really this tax release thing was started by his father. It has been done by every Presidential candidate since. I didn’t think this up out of thin air. His father started the whole thing. If this is going to be the way it is than fine, but then everyone should stop releasing everything.

Sometimes we just have to get the gist of a poster by the comments we read. You are right, I haven't read all your posts and do not intend to spend much of my time doing so. Just as a unconnected metaphor, a proctologist doesn't have to look at 30,000 a$$holes to know one when he sees it.
IF ( a very big IF ) this is true, then PWC is dumber than a box of rocks. I have done tax returns for individuals in the past and when I give them the electronic files, they are encrypted with the highest security currently available. The client receives the file and the decryption key with my recommendation that the disk goes into a safe or safe deposit and the key be kept elsewhere. I keep my copies in a master encryption file (by year) in a safe for the 7 year period and then destroy the media.
If PWC did not encrypt the files of someone who has been running for President for the past 6 years, ... words and thoughts fail. However, proving that it was PWC and not a government leak would be difficult in extreme to prove just from looking at form images.
