No Wonder Obama Moved His Acceptance Speech to Invesco Field (Weather last paragraph)
US NEWS WR ^ | August 25, 2008

Posted on 09/05/2012 12:35:48 PM PDT by Perdogg

On the Invesco Stadium speech, weather.com's forecast for August 28 is "mostly sunny," with a 10 percent chance of precipitation. Lol! Say what they will about the change in venue for the Obama speech, but they are about as transparant as a sheet of Saran wrap.

Clue me in. What does an August 28 forecast (2008) have to do with tomorrow’s temp in Charlotte? What am I not getting? (aside from an excuse for changing the acceptance place because of not filling the stadium)

They claimed they moved it because of the threat of thunder and lighting. This excuss has been proven to be false.

Shep, the Fox “weather machine” and some ditzy guest Shep has on are having an empty chair lovefest. Shep is going on about how bad the weather there has been, the guest is commnting there is a lot of BS from both parties and the weather machine is saying it’s a smart move to bring the event indoors. She claims there is a chance of rain during the day and a slight chance by 9pm.

Paraphrasing: Even if there is no lightning we don’t want a chance of a stadium full of wet people.

I’d tell Shep to pound salt up his *** but he’d probably enjoy that.

Give them time to finish.
